About Doodle's Website

Overview:

Doodle's Website is based on the award winning art instructional TV series: Doodle. Doodle and his Zany friends feature traditional art lessons in a highly energetic and entertaining enviroment that makes learning art fun for all ages. To learn more about the videos check out: The Series.

The website incorporates all the characters, places and of course the art instruction of the Video Series. But we've added things to make this site a fun, interactive and educational. Things that only could be done through the Internet.

How to Navigate our Site:

Doodle's Website is unlike most websites on the net. Since we have three very different audiences to our website,(Adults, Teachers and Kids) we decided to make the interface different for each.

For Kids:
The area designed for kids is the MAIN ENTRANCE. This part of our website is very graphically enhanced. We built it as a 3-D replica of Doodle's Studio for kids to explore. Viewers must use their mouse to roll over the graphics to search each room. Then click on something in each area to find art lessons, online drawing, painting,coloring and even activities. There's a museum to learn about art pieces and the masters who created them. We also have a kids gallery where kids can submit there work. Check everywhere, you never know when you might find a hidden area.

For Adults:
Our area for adults is much more straight foward. We call it KIDS OVER 18. Here we use a more traditional web site approach with lists of information such as: Crafts and activities to do with kids, Information on the importance of art education, Links for parents and other parent resources.

For Teachers:

We call our area for teachers the TEACHER FEATURE. This area is very straignt foward and easy for teachers to navigate. Its set up so teachers can easily gain the information they're after. Wether it be resources, links, lesson plans or test file, teachers can find the information they want here.
