Stretch was born in the soft light district of Sylvania, AL on March 6, 1992. He started out as a reading lamp in his small town but after only 14 days he was returned as a defective unit. The report indicated that his light kept flickering on & off. Stretch protested, saying that it must have been a bad connection. His boss wasn't going for it and with Wal-mart's "no questions asked" return policy, Stretch was doomed to be reduced to molten metal, Stretch escaped his fate by applying for a job in Doodle's Studio as the top lamp overseeing the main drawing table. As it turned out, Stretch wasn't defective(well, his light bulb is a little dim) but the problem was that he wouldn't stop talking. That's what made his light flicker!

Stretch has been a member of the Doodle gang since it first began and his genuine curiosity and air-headed remarks always provide for some good laughs at Doodle's Studio!
